Biography
Dr. Kyuho Lee is an Associate Professor of the Department of Electrical Engineering (EE), and an Adjunct Associate Professor of the Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence (AIGS) of Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST), Ulsan, South Korea, since 2018.
He received B.S. (2012), M.S. (2014), and Ph.D. (2017) degrees from the School of Electrical Engineering, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), Daejeon, South Korea.
Before joining UNIST, he had worked for Samsung Research America (Dallas, TX, USA) as a Hardware Designer in 2016. From 2017 to 2018, he was a Post-Doctoral Researcher in the Information Engineering and Electronics Research Institute, KAIST. He has led or participated in more than 20 projects in the field of Artificial Intelligence System-on-Chip development.
Dr. Lee is a Senior Member of the IEEE since 2019, and he has been serving as a Technical Program Committee Member for the IEEE Asian Solid-State Circuits Conference (A-SSCC), ACM/IEEE Design, Automation and Test in Europe (DATE), IEEE International Conference on Electronics Information and Communication (ICEIC), and Management Co-Chair for the IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Circuits and Systems (AICAS). He has published over 60 papers in the field of intelligent computer vision and deep learning processors.
His main research interests include Neuromorphic System-on-Chip, Deep Learning Processor, In-Memory Processing Architecture, Intelligent Network-on-Chip, and Intelligent AI processors for mobile devices and autonomous vehicles.
